There isn’t a holiday I don’t enjoy. However, Easter is top on the list. I love the pretty pastel colors of the season and the fresh flavors of spring. This year I hosted Easter Dinner for my in-laws. I had so much fun preparing the menu for this dinner. I’ve linked all of the recipes near the end of this post.  I also enjoyed creating a pastel inspired table setting with a mix of china I already had and a few new pieces from Homegoods.

I love to mix all of my different dinnerware patterns together. I have a great china set that James got for me from an auction when we first moved into our house. For Easter Dinner, I mixed pieces of that china set with some Pottery Barn pieces I have, and new plates I just got from Homegoods. I couldn’t find the exact plates online, but I linked some similar items for you. I suggest going to Homegoods, Pier One, and Pottery Barn to start a collection of different items with a similar color patter. Swipe right below, and you’ll find the Pottery Barn Antique Silver Entertaining set is still available for purchase. I have this entire set and I love to add pieces from it to every holiday tablescape I create. I’ve also linked my cupcake/cake stand, table linens, and table runner.

I kept the menu light but flavorful. It was also a non-traditional Easter dinner. James smoked a turkey on the Big Green Egg. I added some color with side dishes and a fun puff pastry appetizer.

For dessert, I served these adorable Lemon Lavender cupcakes. The recipe is on The Pioneer Woman’s website. These cupcakes are perfect for Easter. I love the pretty lavender color and delicious lemon flavor. It’s the perfect combination.

Happy Easter, everyone! I hope you enjoy time around the dinner table today with your family and friends! xoxo
