I’m always trying to think of new ways to entertain during the holidays. In doing so, I thought it would be fun to amp up my favorite snack – POPCORN!  I simply added some tasty holiday ingredients to create a Fun and Festive Popcorn Bar.

The centerpiece, is my my normal bar cart. I added three different types of popcorn, a few adult beverages, and some Christmas cookies.  A sparkling nonalcoholic beverage and hot chocolate, too! So, the kids have a toast to the holidays, too.

The White Chocolate Popcorn is the perfect compliment to hot chocolate. It is such a yummy combination! It also goes well with the Peppermint Smirnoff cocktail from How Sweet Eats.

White Chocolate Peppermint Popcorn

I love how festive the White Chocolate Peppermint Popcorn is! It’s so easy to make, too! All you do is melt white chocolate over a double broiler and add to the stovetop cooked popcorn (recipe below) and toss with crushed cany canes.

Chocolate Covered Popcorn with Toffee Bites

I did the same for the chocolate popcorn, but swapped crushed candy cane for store bought crushed toffee bites. However, before adding the toffee bites, let the chocolate popcorn set for at least 30 minutes and harden slightly so the toffee doesn’t melt.

Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn

The rosemary-parmesean was the easiest of them all! I simply added freshly chopped rosemary and finely grated Parmesan cheese right after the popcorn was done popping. I added a little sea salt, too! This one is my favorite because I’m more of a savory popcorn fan. And I just love fresh rosemary!
Rosemary-Parmesean Popcorn
So the most important thing to making this work is perfectly popped stovetop popcorn! Homemade is the only way here! And it’s so easy!
Homemade stovetop popcorn is the best! I’ve been making it since I could reach the stove! Its a longtime family favorite snack.
