As working parents, finding a sitter for date night can be tough, but that doesn’t mean we have to cancel our dinner plans.  After the baby is asleep, we like to take date night to the backyard (with the dog nearby and the baby monitor in hand, of course). Even if you don’t have kids, your backyard is the perfect entertaining spot. Create a backyard picnic for date night with your significant other or for all your girlfriends. It’s so fun to take the party outside during the summer. Throw together a cheese board, grab a bottle of wine, lay down a blanket, and enjoy the summer evening! Target has an adorable line of picnic supplies. I recently bought a few goodies and I love how it helps give our picnic a romantic setting. I also bought that cheese board from Target. Since our big European trip we’ve been on a budget so this date night idea helps us still have fun but stay within our budget. And it takes us back to Paris – enjoying wine and cheese : )
