Growing up we had taco night and spaghetti night nearly every week. These were two of my favorite meals for dinner. Unfortunately, these meals can be loaded with calories. But they don’t have to be. I found a way to slim down two of my favorites while keeping the yum factor. I made both of these meals this week and I was completely satisfied. Lets start with the spaghetti:
It doesn’t get any better than a good TJ Maxx find. It’s the best! Whenever I see a designer item I really want, I go to TJ Maxx first. I’m loving jumpers right now, and TJ Maxx has a ton of them! How cute is this floral print jumper? Only $20! I styled it with a jean jacket, some wedges from Target, and an adorable pair of pink dangles, also...
I love Sesame Chicken. The combination of garlic, sesame oil, and ginger are so delicious. I always try to keep a sesame dressing in the refrigerator because it helps me just whip up dishes like this healthy version of sesame chicken. If you don’t already have it on hand, prepare a large batch and store it in the refrigerator to use throughout the week. It’s great over salads, lettuce wraps, and rice...
I’m loving lace and ruffle blouses right now. I thought a couple of my favorites were sold out but I see they’re restocked. Two of them are under $20! This one is especially cute and so comfortable! Hurry before it’s sold out again. It runs true to size. I have a medium and it fits perfectly. It’s a great maternity top, too. I wore it pretty far into my pregnancy....
One of our favorite things to make at home is pizza! We enjoy making them together and experimenting with different toppings. We love to make all different kinds, but a margarita pizza is always a safe bet. The ingredients are minimal but the flavor is amazing. This weekend we made a margarita pizza, a mushroom pizza, and a chicken pesto pizza.
I swear by food prep! It makes my week so much easier. As a working mom, my weeks are so incredibly busy. Having healthy meals on hand throughout the week gives me more time to do the things I enjoy like working out and spending time with James and Lukas. I keep meal prep pretty simple yet full of flavor with some staples such as homemade pesto and homemade dressings.

Chances are you’ve seen me use Banza pasta here at Four Seasons of Autumn or over on my Instagram page. I’ve been cooking with it for nearly a year now. It’s chickpea pasta with twice the protein and about half the net carbs as traditional pasta. The company recently sent me a box of three different types of their pasta. I got a little extra creative with the free stuff;...
It’s not a party without a cheese board. Period. Actually it’s not a date night without a cheese board. My husband would say otherwise. That’s neither here nor there – haha. I LOVE creating cheese boards! So, naturally I have to write about How To Build an Epic Cheese Board. I’m surprised it has taken me this long! The possibilities are endless! And there is no better combination than cheese...
I love repurposing a meal and finding tasty ways to use leftovers! Remember the Classic Sunday Pot Roast I shared earlier this week? Well it was a big meal for our family of three so we had a lot of leftovers. Nothing went to waste though! I used the leftovers to create this Leftover Pot Roast Pasta Ragu. This dish is crazy good you guys! It’s a great easy weekday...
Halloween is ONLY two weeks away and I have the cutest DIY toddler Halloween costume idea for you. We are going all out on Lukas’s Halloween costume this year! It has been ready for a couple weeks now, so I thought I’d share it with you guys in case you’re still looking for ideas. It does take a little planning and effort, but it’s so worth it! I placed a simple flower arrangement in the center and...
Hello Brunch Board! How fun is this Show-Stopping Salmon Bagel Bar?! And hardly any cooking is involved! In fact, no cooking is required. I added some carb-free bagels though which is totally optional! If you’re planning a brunch gathering this will totally impress! I love all the colors on this board. Heirloom tomatoes, dill, capers, there’s so much color. I love it! I added two different types of smoked salmon;...

I had some much fun coming up with these Three Perfect Fall Soup and Salad Combinations! They’re a little bit hearty, a little bit healthy, and a whole lot of yum! Soup and Salad combinations are perfect...
Although I love fall, I desperately miss the summer flavors as it gets colder. And when it starts snowing I REALLY miss summer. Come January, there is nothing better than summer in a bottle via canned tomatoes. I have spent the last two weekends canning tomatoes so I make this Red Wine Tomato Basil Sauce all winter long. September is the BEST time for canning – the produce is perfect...
