Cleaning up from Christmas is depressing. In addition, I’ve never been a huge fan of Valentine’s Day. Ironically I realized decorating for Valentine’s Day helps me overcome my Christmas blues. This is the first year I’ve went from Christmas decor to Valentines decor. It totally helps!

ValentinesDay-banner and picture frames on fireplace mantel

For fireplace decor in the dining room, I used mostly old stuff I already had in the house. I added a couple touches of pink to make it “Valentines”. The pink candles and banner are recently purchased from Target. Picture frames, Paris storage bin, and fake tulips are from Homegoods. The flower vase is from a store a local store – La Petite Maison.

ValentinesDay-Gallery Wall

In the living room, I added a pink pillow from Target. Everything on gallery wall is older and from Target. However, it looks like they still have many of the items in stock.

Velentines-decor picture frame and candles

I added small touches of pink to the living room shelf. The candle was purchased last year from Target (still in stock). It smells amazing! The xoxo sign was also from Target, only $3!!!

Home-decor table top decorations fake flowers

Again, the entryway decor was pulled from storage. The only new items were the fake pink flowers and vase, from Target. Everything else, including the picture frames and flower green house are from Homegoods. The entryway table is an old table that has been in our family for years. When we moved into our house four years ago, my mom gave it to us, but first painted it with Annie Sloan chalk paint.

Home- bar with wine and shot glasses

We all need a little Rose during the month of love. (Actually, when do we not need Rose?) Anywho, I found the champagne table runner recently at Homegoods – it’s Kate Spade! I was so excited about this find. The straws, wine glasses, and shot glasses are also Homegoods finds. The decanter is a family heirloom – find a similar one HERE.
