Leftover Pot Roast Pasta Ragu
This dish uses reserved liquid from the Classic Sunday Pot Roast along with any leftover meat and veggies from the Pot Roast.
- 1 box Pasta
- 2 cups Reserved liquid from Classis Sunday Pot Roast
- 1 cup Leftover meat and veggies from Classic Sunday Pot Roast
The key to this dish is keeping the liquid from the Pot Roast Dish made earlier in the week. Just strain the liquid and store in a container for 2-3 days.
When ready to make thid dish you add the liquid to large pan and cook for 5-10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
As the pot roast liquid is warming cook the pasta until al dente or for about 7-8 minutes. Reserve some of the pasta water and toss the pasta into the pan with the pot roast sauce. Mix well.
Serve immediately with freshly grated parmesan cheese and fresh herbs/
