Ho-ho-how about a cookie and a boozy cocktail to go with it? If you like where I’m going with this then follow along: Cookies and Cocktails for a Happy Hosting Season! Is there any better way to get our Merry on? I think not!

I’ve already baked cookies four times this season and I’m sharing my favorite recipes with you and the perfect cocktails to along with the sweet treat. Oh – by the way – The Pampered Chef Cookie Lover Set is my go-to this season! The cookie sheets clean up amazingly! And the cookie cutters are so kid friendly! It would make a great gift for the baker in your life!

Kiss Cookies

Lets start with the cookies! My all-time favorite cookie is the Kiss Cookie or Peanut Butter Blossoms. They’re a classic in our family! I mixed it up a little this year though and instead of rolling the dough in white sugar, I rolled it in green and red sugar. It has the same taste just adds a festive look!

Classic Sugar Cookies

Next up is another classic! The Sugar Cookie! I LOVE making these cookies! They’re so fun and Lukas loves helping me! He’s one of the reasons I’ve made cookies so much this year – he just loves being a part of the process and it makes me so happy! This year I found some fun gold sugar and other toppings in the gourmet food section of TJ Maxx!

Chocolate Covered Pizzelle

Now lets talk about something entirely new in the cookie department (at least for me). Chocolate and Candy Coated Pizzelle. Pizzelle are traditional Italian waffle cookies made from flour, eggs, sugar, butter or vegetable oil, and flavoring. For this recipe, I used store bought Pizzelle – I simply melted white and dark chocolate and coated them with crushed candy cane, toffee bites, and crushed pecans – so easy and so tasty! These are perfect at a cocktail party!

Speaking of cocktails lets get to the boozy goodness! I love making my drinks festive during the holiday season! There are so many great seasonal items to use, too!

Pomegranate Aperol Spritz

Pomegranates are everywhere right now! And there is no better use for them than in a delicious cocktail! This seasonal twist on an Aperol Spritz is so fun – and super tasty! The Pomegranate Aperol Spritz is sure to be a crowd favorite at your holiday party!

Rosemary Cherry Martini

Now this next cocktail is holiday in a martini glass: The Rosemary Cherry Martini! Grab a cookie and lets get shakin’! The Pampered Chef Premium Cocktail Set was put to good use with this drink! It had everything I needed to muddle the rosemary and mix all the flavors together! I love this cocktail set by the way! It’s just what I need to keep the bar going to during the holidays!
