Berries and Banana Smoothie Bowl

My favorite smoothie bowl has lots of berries in it. This first recipe combines raspberries, strawberries, and banana’s. I love these flavors so much! It’s so good, it almost doesn’t seem possible that these are healthy.

I like to top my smoothie bowls with the fresh fruit that I used the frozen version of in the actual smoothie. I also like to add chia seeds and granola. Both of those toppings help offset the sugar from the fruit.

The base for all of my smoothie bowls is dairy-free coconut yogurt. I always use a no-sugar-added yogurt. Again, because there is so much sugar from the fruit. You can of course use any type of yogurt though. I also add almond milk to the smoothie bowls.

Eat Your Greens Smoothie Bowl

I love this smoothie bowl because it has lots of great nutrients from spinach and avocado but still a fun color from the blackberries. Looking at it, you have no idea there are hidden greens in there.

This bowl is especially great for Lukas because the greens are disguised. Genius, right? I’ve been making smoothies for him since he was 9 months. On his really picky days, he’ll always eat his smoothie. It’s so nice because I at least know he’s getting some good nutrients.

I’ve Got Sunshine Smoothie Bowl

This Smoothie Bowl tastes like a tropical drink! It’s seriously so good. I added pineapple, grapefruit, peaches and mango. I also added some spinach and turmeric to this one.

Turmeric is great because it acts as a food coloring but a lot healthier. It totally helps offset the green color from the spinach. Just top this bowl with some coconut shavings and you’ve got a whole lotta sunshine in one bowl. If you live in the Midwest, like me, you need your sunshine whenever you can get it. And this is a great way to do so!
